Silos at South End

Silos at South End is a 388 unit urban apartment community located in historic South End on the Lynx Blue Line. It spans several blocks with public streets and controlled access gates at project entrances. Product types including 4 and 5 story flats and a 3 story townhome/flat product with interconnected garages. DRG provided rezoning and construction documents for the site including the Lynx Blue Line multimodal path and coordination for a new crossing at Poindexter Street. The amenity area incorporated the historic Silos as a visual landmark and included a 1,600 sf pool with sun shelf, outdoor kitchen, bocce court, and a dog spa and park. Design of the multimodal path included an art focus with kinetic sculpture, seating areas and specialty pavement.
